To identify health and safety concerns and issues on campus and address them. Inform the college community of new policies and procedures as they relate to health and safety. To develop and maintain current emergency response plan.

The Safety Advisory Committee promotes campus safety, security, and emergency preparedness to endeavor to create a safe and secure learning and working environment for the campus community. The committee reviews and makes recommendations on campus safety and security issues brought forth by students, staff, and faculty. The committee provides recommendations for safety policies and programs and assists with the emergency procedures program. Members of this committee may be requested to serve on the District-wide Safety Committee.
